While living in Cambridge, Mass. Sonia taught hatha and restorative yoga with attention to creative/adaptive movement and danced with local companies, most rigorously, Ruckus.
She attended massage school in Boston, where she studied a range of techniques and she began her professional practice and further training with her mentors in 2017.
Sonia received Prenatal Massage education from Elaine Stillerman of Mother Massage, who treated Sonia's mother while she was in Utero - a full circle experience.
Love and desire for adventure brought her across the world to work with her hands on Mornington Peninsula in Australia for a year before moving out to Northern California in 2019.
Sonia actively continues her education, in 2022 she participated in one of Gil Hedley's Integral Anatomy labs at the Institute for Anatomical Research in Colorado Springs, CO.
In spring of 2023 she began her western herbalism journey at California School of Herbal Studies.
